However, if you want to get some direction on which of these models you need to buy then you have come to the right place. Have a look below to read and find out more about the set which suits you the best. Now it’s iPhone 11 vs. iPhone 12
This month, Apple released the iPhone 12 as the successor to the iconic iPhone 11, showcasing a new squared-off industrial design, the A14 Bionic chip, an OLED panel, and MagSafe. As smartphones that are more inexpensive than the Pro models, but more fully-featured than the low-cost iPhone SE or iPhone XR, iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini are expected to be the most common alternatives for customers.
Apple continues to market the previous iPhone 11. As it’s a year older than the new iPhone 12, it starts at $599, while the iPhone 12 starts at $799.

Comparing the Design
The iPhone 12 has a new squared-off industrial look with a smooth aluminium band across its edges. Both iPhones use aerospace-grade aluminium on the sides and a single sheet of polished glass on the back.
The styles are both very identical, except the iPhone 12’s edges are smooth and the iPhone 11’s are convex, For smooth edges you can use iPhone 11 Cases. The iPhone 12 reflects a refinement, or what Apple terms an “elevation,” of the iPhone 11 architecture rather than a full redesign. But it looks considerably newer, and it might well be more comfortable to keep it in the palm. The iPhone 12 is 0.9 mm smaller and 32 grammes lighter than the iPhone 11.
Both are available in white, yellow, green and (PRODUCT) red, but each generation has certain special colors. The iPhone 11 is also available in Yellow or Black, while the iPhone 12 is also available in Blue.
Comparing the Display
The show is a big upgrade area for the iPhone 12. The new model uses an OLED Super Retina XDR monitor like the iPhone 11’s Liquid Retina HD LCD display. The OLED monitor provides almost twice the iPhone 11 peak brightness, slightly higher contrast and true blacks, HDR for richer colors, and systemwide color processing for industry-leading color accuracy.
The new OLED monitor also has a smaller bezel relative to the previous LCD iteration. By pressing the monitor farther to the sides, the total size of the unit is marginally smaller. The iPhone 12 also features tougher Ceramic Shield front window, with better drop output up to four times.
Improvements to the iPhone 12 monitor was one of the key factors for choosing a newer edition. The iPhone 11’s Liquid Retina LCD monitor is decent but somewhat dated. There is no question that the advances made with the iPhone 12 and OLED make it a far more appealing device.
The iPhone 12 comes with a 5G sub-6Ghz as well as a higher 5G mm Wave in the United States. 5G will offer increased broadband speeds with quicker downloads and uploads, better quality video streaming, more open games, real-time interactivity with smartphones, high-definition FaceTime, and more. iPhone 12 models now feature a new Smart Data mode, which improves battery life by smartly evaluating 5G needs and managing data consumption, speed and power in real time.
The iPhone 11 has a standard 4G LTE cellular service that has been available in smartphones for many years without the option to connect to 5G.
Despite its merits, 5G is only worth it if it has a qualified data plan and is inside the 5G coverage area. If you’re in an area with a decent 5G coverage, or if you’re planning to carry your iPhone for a few years , 5G access to the iPhone 12 might be important to you. As 5G is still in its adolescence, the iPhone 11 is still a great smartphone for its price.

Cameras Similar, Software Better
The iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 cameras are identical. Both use a dual 12MP camera setup with an Ultra-Wide and a Wide lens on the rear. The Ultra-Wide lenses have the same openings, while the iPhone 12 Wide lens has a significantly wider opening (f/1.6) that gives a greater low-light sensitivity. They all share the same 12MP f/2.2 front-facing sensor.
Features such as Night Mode, Deep Fusion, and Optical Image Stabilization are shared between devices on the Large Frame, but the iPhone 12 also applies Night Mode and Deep Fusion to the Super Wide and front-facing cameras.
For film, the iPhone 12 will capture HDR film with Dolby Vision up to 30 fps and Night mode time-lapses.
Comparing the Battery
Both iPhones have a battery life that allows up to 17 hours of video playback and can charge as much as 50 percent in just 30 minutes with a 20W power adapter. Apple claims that the iPhone 12 will provide up to 11 hours of streaming video playback instead of 10 hours of the iPhone 11, but it seems that both versions can usually do the same thing when it comes to battery life.
However, the iPhone 12 offers a unique charging feature. MagSafe increases wireless charging by conveniently aligning the charger with the internal coil via a variety of magnets. MagSafe chargers will provide up to 15W of power while also accommodating current Qi-enabled computers. And, Can you wirelessly charge iPhone 12 with case? Here You can find iPhone 12 cases list that can help you to charge your iPhone wirelessly.
There are certainly some improvements which have been offered by iPhone 12 over iPhone 11. This is in regards to the MagSafe, 5G, display, camera hardware, and processor.
Although some of these changes are rather small- someone with an eye for technology will be quick to catch the difference.
