Review For Anker SoundBuds Slim
Best Workout Earphones!!
SoundBuds Slim Design
Anker SoundBuds Slim sports wireless earphones have a sleek cabling system. Wait for it—it does not have a neckband but only an in-line remote cable.
For the price, it is a budget-friendly wireless earphone to own. Picture this it fits comfortably in the pocket, and compared to a true wireless earbud last longer between charges.
However, this is not all it comes with metal earpieces comprising aluminum. Therefore, what does this mean for you! You get a durable pair of buds that can withstand handling around the home and gym.
Be honest, do you prefer plastic or a metal construction? Metal of course, however, the anodized finish might not look great after a while but will not crumble.
To add a touch of excellence each end of the buds has magnets to link them together around the neck. So what is the most impressive thing about the buds?
It is the comfort, and the SoundBuds come with ear hooks to keep them comfortable while walking and exercising. You get four sizes of tips and three sets of hooks in the package deal.
So is this all? No, there is more!
Anker had thought about everything when they made these sporty earbuds. You get IPX5 water-resistant rating, and you can wear them with water jets for a cruise out on the sea. Impressive, don’t you think!
However, do not go and run them through water and only wipe them down for cleaning. You can get the buds in the three primary colors black, red, and blue.
On the other hand, remember it is only the cabling color that changes and not the earpieces. Alternatively, you get a plastic remote housing with three buttons to control the volume, track, or do both.
The wireless headphone charges using a micro-USB (we know disappointing compared to the latest ones with USB-C) cable. Furthermore, you get seven hours of playtime, and it takes 1-hour to charge fully.
How capable is it in handling sound?
Unfortunately, this is where the SoundBuds Slim is not at its best. A fact is it could be worse when looking at the price. Listening to podcasts is hard and does not give a pleasant tone. They sound coarse most of the time.
The bass does not give a booming sound, but you have no mid-bass and the details present and transparent at times. Do not get us wrong the sounds not terrible but not the best as well.
We would buy these to run with or take to the gym. You can turn the volume up a bit, but the roughness of the treble remains. Luckily, Anker is aware of the problem, and you will find their Spirit X model sounds much better.

Why Should You Buy the Anker SoundBuds Slim?
Considering the price Anker has packed in loads of features in the SoundBuds Slim. Besides, you get wireless connections and aluminum earpieces that are durable to last a long time.
Furthermore, the earphones are sports ready to use occasionally to the gym. However, if you plan to use them often to do workouts, we recommend spending a bit more.
You may not get high-grade sound suitable for audiophiles but enough sound impact for commuting to work. If you are looking for better features related to sports, you can look at the Skullcandy or SoundCore Spirit X instead.
For lightweight stereo earbuds with wireless use, you will love the Anker SoundBuds Slim. You get customizable accessories to get a secure fit, and all components are in aluminum housing.
For us, this outstanding as the metal construction is more durable compared to plastic. You get a built-in microphone to make and receive calls while walking or running.
The sporty design is excellent in all the colors. The sound might not be the best, but one cannot place them next to the more costly true wireless earbuds online.
